In a powerful video message shared by the Congress party on social media, former Congress president Sonia Gandhi launched a scathing attack on Prime Minister Narendra Modi and the ruling Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), accusing them of fostering a distressing atmosphere in the country for political gain. She called upon citizens to unite behind the Congress party for a brighter future, emphasizing the need to combat widespread challenges plaguing the nation.

Addressing the nation, Sonia Gandhi highlighted the prevailing issues confronting various segments of society, including unemployment among youth, atrocities against women, and discrimination faced by Dalits, tribals, backward classes, and minorities. She squarely blamed Prime Minister Modi and the BJP for creating such an environment, alleging that they promoted hatred for political benefits. Gandhi stressed that the Congress party has always championed the cause of progress, justice, and inclusivity, pledging to uplift the impoverished, empower youth and women, support farmers and laborers, and strengthen marginalized communities through its manifesto, 'Nyay Patra.'

Encouraging voters to support the Congress party once again, Sonia Gandhi underscored the alliance's commitment to safeguarding the Constitution and democracy, urging citizens to vote for a bright future for all and to collectively build a strong and united India. Her impassioned plea resonated amidst ongoing Lok Sabha elections, with the Congress asserting that this electoral battle is crucial for preserving the Constitution and the rights of tribals, poor, and backward communities. The video message came as voting for the third phase of Lok Sabha elections was underway across multiple constituencies, further intensifying the political discourse in the country.
